Elijah was working on a project with DROP (Formally Mass Drop) this was going to be an exclusive for them to produce and sell and market. The project was drawn out and delayed due to complications in producing the knife paired with nailing down an OEM. In the end the knife was deemed to expensive to produce.
Again we see A hyper modern take on a traditional "Gunstock Pattern" from the pages of classic slip joint lore. The prototype has Japanese style influences while combining Elijah's multi piece handle construction to obtain a particular functional esthetic. The reverse of the pivot features the Drop logo and you can see where the Isham shield is lasered on the spine.
Early rending of the prototype from Elijah, he wanted the knife to be Carbon Fiber and titanium but the original OEM was uncomfortable blind tapping Carbon without some kind of sinker and the project was already building up expenses due to construction complications.
There are 4 prototypes known to exist.
